Within the framework of the project “Enhancing Research and Teaching Capacity on Security Studies at Higher Education Institutions”, a training program entitled “Security and Terrorism Studies School” is going to be organized and accept either undergraduate or graduate students. This five-day-long program will be held in Bodrum and intends to welcome students who already work on the issues or are intended to do so. Transportation, accommodation, subsistence, and education expenses of 30 full scholarship students to be selected within this framework will be covered by the organizers.
Security and Terrorism Studies School offers a training program that includes current conceptual discussions on security and terrorism, security theories, threats and practices in the field of security, field experience sharing, and case studies provided by local and international experts on the subject. Following the completion of the program, participants are expected to deepen their knowledge of security and terrorism and thus support their education in the field of security and terrorism at universities.
Undergraduate or graduate level students willing to participate in the School of Security and Terrorism Studies program should complete their applications by filling out the online form indicating their academic resume, language competencies, and letter of intent in which they express their interest in the subject and information about the individuals who provide the candidate with academic references by 28 September 2022.
Detailed information about the schedule and the experts taking part in this training program will be announced together with the application results. After the list of students who are eligible to participate in the School of Security and Terrorism Studies program is finalized, the necessary travel and accommodation planning will be made by the organizers.
